The event witnessed a special performance by Mr. Sparsh Gupta who was the winner for the white paper submission on ideas to empower women & a special ramp walk of remarkable women celebrating the uniqueness of every woman not by their looks and outfits but focusing on their achievements and aspirations followed by dinner & mocktail.
“Without data sovereignty, data protection is a myth,” said Vinit Goenka, former national co-convenor of Bharatiya Janata Party’s IT cell. “It’s a welcome move. Data localisation will help India harness the economic benefit of data and remove the fear of access by enemy states. Our law enforcement agencies can easily access the data in case of a breach, which is not the case right now,” he added.
According to Vinit Goenka, Member Governing Council of CRIS, Ministry of Railways (GoI) setting up of indigenous data centres in India in order to avoid data colonization should be prioritized.
