Egovernance for Good Governance

September 30, 2012

Namaskar ! !

Indian Economy today seems to be more aggrieved than it was anytime before during the height of the global financial crisis of 2008. The GDP growth rate has not been encouraging and many economists have quoted this as stagfla

tion stage. The real cost burden lie with the Government’s policy paralysis at the Centre that has led to delays in decision making, delays in project implementation, shortage of fuel and high interest rates. We have witnessed several scams and corrupt practices which has adversely affected the image of India and reduced the flow of investments in several sectors. The common man has been suffering significantly due to all these issues.

The BJP – the Party with a difference is DIFFERENT – in fact we are right now in the midst of an exercise towards establishing a National e-Governance Task Force, to bring in more responsible good governance in all states. This exercise is aimed at betterment and standardization of governance policies and citizen services across India The exercise we have undertaken is probably the first of its kind helping to understand, evaluate and propagate the policies and practices that has helped citizen services across the various states in India irrespective of whether it is a BJP / NDA ruled state or not. The objective is to shorten learning curves and adopt policies and practices that have proven to have helped citizens and helped eliminate wastages and corruption – in short policies and practices that have given hope and encouragement to citizens that “ALL IS NOT WRONG WITH OUR COUNTRY”.

E-Governance can provide the transparency needed so as to eliminate corruption, scams, establish accountability and ensure smooth flow of transactions and quicker implementation. This will instil the confidence back in the minds of citizens of this country.
